I had a good time at the Mercure in Kingston upon Hull. The hotel has a lovely location near the shopping park. The indoor pool was nice, and I enjoyed the quality of the toiletries provided. The room was spacious with big windows letting in lots of light. Staff greeted us warmly upon arrival. the facilities felt a bit dated. The pool area had an odd smell. Breakfast options were limited since I had to leave early. My room had a heater that worked but it took time to warm up. pleasant stay but certainly room for improvement in the facilities.

I recently stayed for one night in a Classic Double Room. The staff went above and beyond, especially Linda in the restaurant. Her attentiveness made my dining experience delightful. a modern touch in the bathrooms would truly enhance comfort. Pro tip, request a room further from the common areas for peace.

the mercure was a pleasant surprise! we booked last minute and got a privilege double room. the young lady at check-in was so welcoming. the room was spacious, bright, and warm, with a comfy bed. i loved the tea and coffee facilities. The heated indoor pool was a great touch!

The junior suite provided a spacious and quiet environment, with clean, comfortable beds and decent breakfast options. Friendly staff added to the positive atmosphere. the service during a recent event was disappointing. there was a lack of management presence, stale sandwiches, and an unresolved issue with a juice refund, which detracted from our experience. It’s unfortunate, as this place has great potential and lovely staff.

Had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel for my brother's 60th Birthday. The food at dinner was very good to excellent quality. Pizzas were good value and large. And, the breakfast was nice and had a lot of variety, loved the option of a smoothie.
